JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and co-ordinate all Business Development activities in South East Asia activities. This includes but is not limited to the preparation of the pre-qualifications, proposals, presentations, marketing support, but also interfacing with clients, partners and other divisions of CB&I Asset Solutions at all levels.
Identify, coordinate and support the development of strategic business development opportunities across the SEA region.
Contribute to Asset Solutions growth in the APAC region through the expansion of existing client accounts and development of new business opportunities in South East Asia.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, partners and internal Asset Solutions stakeholders to support business growth and new opportunities.
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across regional and global business functions to support business development and growth initiatives.
Maintain regional sales pipeline information, marketing intelligence and opportunity tracking for the assigned geographic region, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting inputs.
Coordinate business development and proposal activities, including support for sales activities, tender submissions and client engagement processes.
Support the preparation of pre-qualifications, presentations, marketing materials, bid submissions and commercial positioning for proposals and tenders.
Coordinate and maintain CRM records to ensure accurate and up-to-date opportunity tracking, reporting and forecasting information.
Prepare and provide regular updates on client meetings, market engagement activities and opportunity progress to regional leadership.
Support in coordinating marketing and business development activities with Business Line Leads / Country Manager and internal stakeholders for targeted countries and clients as directed.
Support initiatives to ensure Asset Solutiosn service offering remains visible and effectively communicated within the marketplace.
Monitor and analyse market intelligence, competitor activity, emerging technologies and industry trends to support positioning of Petrofac’s services and identify new opportunities.
Support publicity and external engagement activities, including contributions to press releases, articles and marketing content as required.
Travel as required to support client engagement, business development activities and regional growth objectives.
Represent CB&I Asset Solutions at industry events, conferences and client forums through attendance and relationship-building activities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
A degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field.
Master's Degree (MBA (desired but not essential)
Maximum years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer service roles.
Knowledge of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes
Ability to analyse sales data, develop budgets, and assess the financial viability of new initiatives.
Familiarity with various sales methodologies and negotiation tactics for closing deals and managing client relationships effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are vital for articulating ideas, negotiating deals, and building relationships with clients and stakeholders
The ability to connect with others, understand their needs, and foster long-term relationships.
Effective negotiation techniques are crucial for securing favorable terms and closing deals while maintaining positive relationships.
Strong organizational capabilities, managing multiple projects, deadlines, and client interactions efficiently.
