JOB TITLE: DECOMMISSIONING PROJECT MANAGER

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the strategic direction of the Decommissioning Service Line by securing new projects and ensuring successful delivery.
  • Lead with strong HSE focus, ensuring corporate and regulatory compliance across all regional projects.
  • Collaborate with global and regional leadership on major client pursuits, project execution, and business growth.
  • Act as company representative with clients, partners, and contractors, safeguarding company interests and building lasting relationships.
  • Oversee project performance, budgets, risks, and resource optimization to achieve or exceed business targets.
  • Support bid development, contract negotiation, and assurance reviews to drive quality and technical excellence.
  • Foster innovation and continuous improvement through lessons learned and best practice sharing across global teams.
  • Stay current with industry developments to enhance service capability and maintain competitive advantage.

 ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry across project management, construction, commissioning, operations, and decommissioning.
  • Strong leadership in managing project and operational teams, with preference for experience in an operating environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across functions such as project controls, operations, subsea, and asset management.
  • Skilled in budgeting, tendering, and contract award processes.
  • Experience coordinating logistics and materials for offshore projects.
  • Knowledge of Australian regulatory requirements for commissioning, decommissioning, and operations is highly regarded.
