JOB TITLE:  Deputy Manager - Quality ( QA - Project )

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Prepare the project Construction Quality plan to ensure all the contract requirements are addressed and ensure implementation and maintenance of the Construction quality plan.

·         Prepares / reviews quality related procedures required during the Construction phase

·         Supports Site QC Manager and Project team in resolving QMS coordination and technical issues related with various ISO certification standards such as ISO9001, ISO 29001etc.

·         Preparation of Construction Quality Assurance Program/ Construction Audit schedule which includes subcontractors, encompassing areas which specific emphasis on project such as cleanliness, tightness, welding, preservation etc..

·         Review and approve the Subcontractors QA related deliverables

·         Review project audit performance, identify and report problems or trends of quality performance. Approve, recommend and/or implement appropriate corrective actions to quality problems.

·         Conducts inductions / trainings on project QMS for all the project personnel as well as the sub-contractor teams as required and monitor the tool box talk.

·         Participate in customer feedback process, monitors customer satisfaction rating and initiates appropriate corrective actions to improve the same.

·         Ensures the customer complaints are logged and appropriate actions are taken on-time to close out the same.

·         Organise / Conduct internal audits which includes preparation audit plan, Audit report coordination with Auditee.

·         Maintain the site action tracking which includes non-conformance(s), Corrective Action, Daily surveillance report and monitor the closure and effectiveness of corrective action.

·         Coordinates and records regular quality meetings with Client

·         Compiles project QMS performance report which includes KPI’s as a input to Project Management review and Corporate Quality Director

·         Coordinates and records Project QMS Review Meetings during the construction and monitors close-out actions.

·         Coordinates client and third party audits and follow-up action closure

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·         Engineering Diploma/Degree or equivalent, in a related subject.

·         QMS Lead Auditor and audit Certifications with a minimum of 5 years as Lead Auditor.  organizations with at least 5 years exposure to the EPC industry.

·         Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant discipline.

·         Should have experience in oil & gas/petrochemical industry.

·         Should have previously worked with major EPC contractor and ADNOC Projects.
