JOB TITLE: ENGINEER I – INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the implementation of data management rules and guidance of ISO/TS81346 for implementation of offshore reference designation system (RDS).
  • Coordinate with Engineering disciplines on data management functions and RDS submission related aspects.
  • Strong Knowledge on the concept of 2D & 3D Engineering Tools and Building Information Model (BIM)
  • Strong hands-on experience in Data Management processes that enable consistency across EPC lifecycle.
  • Information Management execution from Engineering to final M&I handover, offshore project experience is preferable.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Data Visualization System’s Design, Implementation and Customization.
  • Coordination on Project Delivery Systems across various Departments and Disciplines for the execution of the project: CAD, Engineering and Supplier Document Management, Project Systems and Services, and Information Management (Data integration, Warehousing, and Final project data handover.

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any engineering or information system.
  • A minimum of 5 -7 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or other Energy industry sector.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in managing the project information through full lifecycle and implementing BIM as per ISO 19650-1 Concepts and principles ISO/TS 81346 within the EPC (offshore project is preferable). 
  • Auto Desk 360 and BIM implementation during EPC lifecycle.
  • Concepts and principles of ISO/TS81346 for the implementation of offshore reference designation.
  • Implementation of project Single Source of truth for M&I Data delivery and Asset management.
  • Implementation of Aveva AIM is preferable.
  • IM related Problem-solving including discussions with other team members, clients and potentially with vendors to identify sources of missing data.
  • Good people, communication, and computer skills (Excel, access database management and data handling).
