JOB TITLE: INTEGRITY/ INSPECTION COORDINATOR
Contract Duration: 6-month fixed term contract based in the client office in Aberdeen.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate the offshore inspectors to ensure efficient delivery of the inspection plan for compliance against pressure systems, structural & marine inspection requirements.
· Work pack coordination.
· Manage Topside integrity activities throughout operations.
· Assist in the management of the RBI system.
· Input to deferrals of inspection activities
· Perform technical assessments of anomalies raised during inspections
· Management of anomaly risk assessment and assignment of repair tasks
· Assign of FM tasks
· Coordinate 3rd party vendors and provide scopes of work where required.
· Create an annual and five-year asset integrity plans offshore asset. Review and incorporate inspection and topsides integrity programs into the integrated activity and operations plans
· The above is an outline of key duties and accountabilities, rather than an exclusive or exhaustive list of responsibilities. The post holder is expected to undertake any tasks which may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position.
· The postholder is expected to adhere to the Golden Rules of Safety (transitioning to ‘The 9 Lifesaving Rules in 2020) and the Petrofac Values.
· Routinely organizing and reacting to vendor mobilization to maintain a fast-changing Operational plan
· Routinely reviewing inspection reports and understanding where data is incorrect and highlighting concerns
· Non-route work packs out with normal inspection activity. Following work pack creation procedure and adapting standard templates and ensuring the workplace is reviewed and approved by more senior engineers
· Routinely reviewing new anomalies and performing first pass the risk assessment in line with procedure. This requires problem solving to determine current condition, future degradation potential to assess probability of failure and assessment of operation to determine consequence of failure.
· Identification, management and monitoring of asset integrity issues following the AIMS procedure
· Analysis and interpretation of integrity management performance while producing the Topside Annual Integrity Report. This involves combining information from a variety of sources to determine the suitability of a system to continue operation.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Minimum HNC/HND in relevant engineering discipline with appropriate experience. Preferred degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or associated discipline or high level of appropriate role experience.
· Knowledge of related standards / regulatory requirements. Plant inspection or API certification, with associated experience, would be beneficial.
· Understanding of risk-based integrity processes and databases, including AIMS, PSIMS, PIMS & SIMS.
· Familiarity with inspection techniques and damage mechanisms.
· Ability to interpret inspection reports and engineering drawings.
· Knowledge & previous use of integrity management databases.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
· Self-motivated and enthusiastic when working as part of a team or on own initiative.
· Ability to investigate and interpret data.
· Ability to be responsive and open to changing circumstances.
