Lifting Technical Coordinator
CB&I is seeking a Lifting Technical Coordinator - Contractor for 6 months based in Aberdeen, UK.

The role is outside IR35 and we invite Limited Companies to engage.
The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.
Scope of Services:
Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below provide guidance and advice on LOLER matters.
· Provide additional technical input in support of Engineering (Brownfield Projects) and operations (via LOLER Site Representatives) in relation to lift plans and mechanical handling.
· Engage with Projects, Operations & Decommissioning personnel across Asset Solutions.
· Provide governance support activities including verification that processes and procedures
· Ensure lift planning risk assessments are properly carried out
· Project Documentation is properly maintained
· Ensure project personnel competence is satisfactory and maintained
· Ensure lifting incidents are properly investigated and root causes addressed via the quality management system
· Ensure all Lifting Operations are carried out in accordance with Petrofac Lifting Guidelines
· Carry out audits on lifting operations and equipment to ensure compliance
· Produce Audit reports
· Engage with Projects, Operations & Decommissioning teams to plan lifting operations and ensure applicable approvals are in place
· Identify mechanical handling solutions that increase efficiency without impacting safety or integrity
· Support and improve team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices
· Maintain effective communication with all work colleagues
· Ensure comprehensive records are maintained
· Ensure effective handovers are carried out
· Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and be able to provide guidance to others.
Deliverables:
Services should be provided to produce the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order.
Key deliverables to include:
· Review and approve lifting operations, lifting plans and risk assessments.
· Develop effective Lifting Plans for Engineering Projects and clients
· Determine suitable levels of Supervision for complex and complicated lifts in conjunction with site management.
· Ensure all lifting equipment used on site is in compliance with Petrofac and legislative requirements
Services should be provided to check and verify the following design deliverables where required as part of project specific works. Key deliverables to include:
· Lifting Operations and lifting equipment regulations CB&I procedures
· Any other key deliverables will be identified by project
