JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT – 28/28 ROTATION IN EG
The post is based in Equatorial Guinea, offshore on the Serpentina FPSO on a 28/28 rotation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage and control the Maintenance Department to ensure safe and efficient functioning of all technical facilities.
Responsible for all maintenance functions (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and telecommunication).
Responsible for operation, condition monitoring and troubleshooting of relevant utility system.
Responsible for technical integrity of the hull, structure, tanks, topside vessels and equipment etc.
Responsible for sufficient bunker on board. Manage and plan bunkering operation.
Responsible for good housekeeping in all areas of responsibility.
Responsible for planning and accomplish of all maintenance activities as per Computerised Maintenance Management System.
Responsible for modifications under management of change procedure.
Perform criticality assessment of the equipment. Assign and review maintenance options.
Liaise with OIM and other Department Heads for planning maintenance and operation activities.
Responsible for pre-commissioning and commissioning during operation.
Verify and review the Company's Policies and procedures through the Offshore Management Review; Develop and revise procedures and standing instructions for the Production Department.
Ensure the Permit To Work system is controlled and adhered to as per requirements of the system.
Ensure that regulatory and class requirements are adhered to.
Responsible for stock control of spare parts and consumables within area of responsibility.
Responsible for control of hazardous substances that are used/ stored within the Maintenance department.
Responsible for the relevant Risk Assessments; Participate in the investigation of accidents and incidents. Administrate Company reporting System report.
Liaise closely with onshore management, TMS and HSSEQ.
Responsible for the Computerized Maintenance Management System. Unit Computerised
Maintenance Management System Administrator.
Responsible that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively.
Responsible for checking of vendors and contractors equipment condition and certificates.
Undertake training relevant to the position requirements.
Responsible for the training of subordinates and trainees.
Responsible for competency assessment and performance evaluation of subordinates, including provide feedback.

Prepare and administer required reports. Maintain appropriate documentation.
Safety Management:
Understand and ensure compliance by teams regarding the installation safety case, statutory requirements, and safe systems of work.
Ensure contractors and vendors comply with Petrofac / client’s safe systems of work and current legislation.
Emergency Response:
Perform Deputy OIM role and able to perform OIM role should they be incapacitated in the event of an emergency.
Perform in an emergency role as defined by the Company Emergency Response Procedure Manual and Station Bill.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Ideally a degree in Engineering or similar, but lack of formal education may be compensated by long relevant experience.
Must have a strong focus on reliability, risk management and integrity management processes.
Excellent team player with proven track record of facilitation and engineering capability
Excellent understanding of IT packages including Word, Excel and Project Management .
Competent and comfortable working with auditors, regulatory bodies, external verifiers and third party operators .
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to share information / knowledge with other personnel .
Industry experience in a range of technical, supervisory and management roles .
Proven leadership qualities, experience in offshore operations roles would be advantageous .
