JOB TITLE: MANAGER – PROPOSALS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the Proposals co-ordination for the Asia Pacific region.
Support with drafting proposal documents, presentations, and RFP responses
Track proposal timelines, deadlines, and action items; flag slippage proactively
Coordinate proposal review cycles and stakeholder feedback collection
Organize proposal kick-off meetings and logistical coordination
Maintain proposal and commercial tracking systems
Manage and lead APAC proposal team
Support business development activities including attending client meetings and opportunity assessment
Maintain a database of information to ensure an efficient proposals compilation process.
Interface with other departments (Finance, HR, Commercial) on behalf of the BD team to ensure all information is submitted on time.
Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all interactions
Supports the team in managing proposal budgets. Ensure procurement protocols are followed to maintain cost control. Contributes to operational efficiency through process improvements and cost-conscious administration.
Identifies and proposes solutions to operational and administrative inefficiencies. Demonstrates resourcefulness in managing competing priorities. Escalates appropriately to the Operations Director on significant issues. Contributes ideas for process improvement and system enhancements.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Education: Secondary qualification or equivalent; certifications in business administration, office management, or project coordination preferred but not essential.
Experience: 5-10 years' experience in a proposal’s role. Familiarity with oil and gas industry or related sectors preferred but not essential. Exposure to proposal/business development support activities is advantageous

Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); comfortable learning new tools

Familiarity with operational or commercial systems; comfortable with CRM, ERP, or similar platforms
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving orientation and initiative; willing to suggest improvements
Commercial awareness and understanding of business development
