·         Coordinate multi-modal transport operations including sea, road, and inland waterway shipping.

·         Manage logistics interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, and fabrication teams to align on transport requirements and timelines.

·         Evaluate and select logistics service providers (heavy lift, marine transport, barge operators, etc.) and oversee execution of contracts.

·         Ensure all lifting, transport, and handling procedures comply with project-specific technical requirements, regulatory standards, and safety protocols.

·         Review and approve method statements, heavy-lift plans, and transport route assessments.

·         Monitor module readiness and manage logistics schedules to align with project delivery milestones.

·         Interface with ports, customs, marine authorities, and third-party inspectors to ensure smooth module movement and clearance.

·         Maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests, inspection reports, permits, and tracking records.

·         Identify and mitigate risks in module logistics, proposing contingency and recovery plans as needed.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Marine Transportation [Naval Architect] or a related field.

·         Maximum years of experience in module transportation logistics, heavy-lift operations, or project logistics in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors.

·         Strong understanding of modular construction, transportation constraints, and heavy-haul engineering.

·         Familiarity with international logistics regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures.

·         Experience working with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and marine transport operators.

·         Competence in logistics planning and tracking tools.

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

·         High attention to safety, quality, and risk mitigation.

·         Experience in global megaprojects involving modular fabrication (e.g., LNG, FPSO, refinery, offshore platforms).

·         Familiarity with marine warranty survey (MWS) processes.

·         Project Management & Logistics Certification.

·         Offshore safety certification for site visits (example H2S Training).

WORKING CONDITIONS:

·         Office-based with frequent travel to fabrication yards, ports, or project sites.

·         May involve extended work hours or shift work during module moves or critical operations.

·         Physically able to perform site inspections and attend heavy-lift operations.
