JOB TITLE: OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER

 

The post is based in the Southern North sea on a 2/2/2/4 rotation - Fixed term 12 months.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • To demonstrate at all times the highest regard for health, safety and welfare of personnel, facilities and the environment.

  • To manage and lead an offshore team to ensure client needs are met.

  • Ensure legislative and PFML policy compliance at all times.

  • Lead the maximisation of production with the safe utilisation of personnel, process plant and equipment.

  • Prioritising daily production and maintenance activities, ensuring all activities are coordinated to achieve safe and efficient platform operations within the Safety Case and regulatory requirements.

  • Managing and controlling emergency response actions in the event of accidents or incidents.

  • Organising safety musters, drills and exercises.

  • Manage intervention activities and campaign maintenance programmes for the Normally Unattended Installations (NUIs).

  • Compilation of operational and technical reports.

  • Daily liaison with the Operations Manager and Operations Engineers.

  • Providing first line reviews and platform change proposals.

  • Ensure implementation of the Company Safety Management System.

  • Liaise with visiting regulatory officials.

  • Prioritising and progressing action items raised under ICP surveys in conjunction with the Operations Engineer and onshore support group as necessary.

  • Lead the implementation of technical and management initiatives.

  • Provide technical support to capital projects.

  • Act as combined operations OIM / Production supervisor in support of drilling projects.

  • Ensure and assess all direct reports are competent in line with Competent Person Profile (CPP).

  • Ensure Active Monitoring is carried out.

  • Carry out planning, procurement, and maximo work orders when in the office, in preparation for Maintenance activities.

  • Collecting data and information required for condition monitoring and preventative maintenance.

  • Form part of the SNS Emergency Response Team as required by Company Emergency Response Procedures.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

 

  • Outstanding leadership abilities in an offshore hydrocarbon-processing environment.

  • Previous SNS OIM experience essential

  • Extensive experience in a range of technical, supervisory and management roles.

  • Experience of managing satellite intervention and campaign maintenance work.

  • Experience of working to Safety Case and other legislative requirements.

  • Experience of Well Intervention activities.

  • Competent dealing with NUI Emergencies.

  • Completed OIM Legislation Training.

  • Offshore Survival and Medical Certificates essential.

  • Completion of Mandatory Training

  • Attainment of Competent Person Profile.
