We support flexible working requests and have adopted a hybrid approach for most of our office-based roles. We ask employees to be present in the office at least three days per week.
- Accountable to prepare FEED to ensure FID Objectives (Cost Estimate, Schedule, Execution Strategies and Plan, Risk Management)
- Management/coordination of Petrofac’s inhouse Engineering and Operations Services capability (projects/engineering and operations) as well as coordinating key subcontractor partners in delivery of integrated projects
- Provide technical/project leadership in support of project delivery.
- Responsible for Petrofac project teams’ planning and executing projects in adherence with documented systems and practices.
- Support building a strong and positive team culture within and between Project Team and subcontracting partners.
- Lead project set up, definition of resource requirements, project start up and execution in line with client commitments.
- Ensure that the project is delivered with a clear focus on quality and in a way that meets HSE requirements.
- Responsible for driving adherence to project cost and schedule commitments holding each work stream accountable to deliver.
- Manage/Coordinate and work closely with Petrofac Project management support function (cost/planning/commercial/information management)
- Responsible for the management of; project interfaces; project risk; weekly project reporting & monthly project reporting inclusive of cost and schedule information.
- Support adherence to gated project execution methodology/strategy in the delivery of all project scopes.Interface with Client and Petrofac management in delivery of Projects.
- Drive focus on delivering client value and enhancing internal margins on live project scope.Active participation in key planning milestones, Risk Assessments, HAZOPs and HAZIDs.
- Actively ensure Lessons Learned are communicated through all project teams.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Engineering degree in relevant discipline
- Project Management diploma or further training leading PM qualification preferred
- Extensive energy industry experience, covering broad range of job functions in project management, preferably involving modularisation and onshore construction.
- Knowledge and working experience of managing and gaining support from project teams
- Proven track record in managing large scale FEED study projects
- Experience in Construction-led planning during design
