JOB TITLE: PUMPMAN

This post is based offshore on the Bleoholm on a 3/3 rotation

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • ‘Live’ our Petrofac Values and apply them in day-to-day work.

  • Operation of cargo and ballast systems including cargo system lining up

  • Set up and monitor crude oil washing, tank cleaning and associated cargo waste equipment

  • Carry out manual checks of tank levels and sampling

  • Maintain all cargo handling equipment in accordance with planned maintenance schedule, including pumps and valves on deck and in Pump room

  • Maintain E/Rm and Pump Room in a tidy and clean condition

  • Planned maintenance of all deck machinery and equipment

  • Maintenance and repair of accommodation fittings as required

  • Ensure spares for cargo equipment and accommodation are monitored and available

  • Ensure comprehensive work history is recorded in Maximo and any follow up work and material required is identified

  • Carry out the following in support of deck activities

  • Helicopter, shipping and standby vessel operations

  • All deck and crane operations

  • Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to Petrofac’s life saving rules.

  • Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with HS&E policy, procedures and Safety Management System

  • Be familiar with and follow the Health and Safety at all times

  • Comply with all relevant PFM HS&E policies and procedures where appropriate

  • Actively participate and support all and PFM Health, Safety & Environmental plans, initiatives and improvements

  • Carry out all activities in accordance with ISSOW including the following:

  • Comprehensive and detailed Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks

  • Stop and re-asses any job where change is identified

  • Report all accidents and incidents

  • Carry out Emergency Response duties in accordance with requirements

  • Participate and encourage other members of the Operations Team to participate in Safety Observation Programmes.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Working at Height Unit 2 - PPE User

  • ISSoW - Permit Vision software training

  • Authorised Gas Tester - Level 3

  • Lubrication Appreciation - RSRUK Level 2.

  • Previous experience in a similar offshore role

  • Previous experience with Maximo or similar CMMS

  • Computer literate including use of Microsoft office suite
