JOB TITLE: SCAFFOLDER

 

Core crew role on GP3 on a 2/3 Rota

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible as part of a scaffold team for the selection of the correct materials required for erecting / dismantling of scaffold structures

  • Able to partake in all types of basic and complex scaffolding operations under the direct supervision of the scaffold chargehand/foreman, including but not restricted to independent, birdcage, suspended, cantilever, lifting frames and work from design drawings all in accordance with Petrofac procedures.

  • Follow and complete assigned work by the scaffold foreman/chargehand.

  • Partake in toolbox talks, risk assessments, method statements and rescue plans issued/created by the scaffold foreman/chargehand.

  • as part of the team ensuring correct compliance of scaffold erect/dismantle as per the relevant issued documents on site.

  • Management of a safe working and clean and clear housekeeping rules apply.  This includes storing of all unused materials in correct storage/racking

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

 

  • CISRS Basic Scaffold Card

  • Industry Company and Client specific training / safety critical requirements as per the company’s recruitment procedure

  • Experience of erecting scaffolds within a Petrochemical, Oil Platform or New Energy Environment

  • High level of Health and Safety Awareness

  • Work performance / quality

  • Good working attitude to Management and fellow workers

  • Following company code of conduct rules
