JOB TITLE: SENIOR ENGINEER - CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTATION

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to support to identify irregularities and shortfalls in spares, inventory and tools necessary to ensure continuous and safe operations, take corrective action as required.
• Ability to work on control systems such as advance process control (APC), distributed control system ( DCS), Programmable logic controllers ( PLC’s), Emergency Shut Down system ( ESD) & Fire and Gas System and SCADA.
• Familiar with control strategy and control theory (PI/PID/Cascade/Split range control/ alarm managements/ etc…).
• Experience with field instrument, control valves, shutdown valves, fire and gas detectors and ATEX regulation.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and control systems.
• 8+ years’ experience of operation experience in gas sector.
• OPITO Certified H2S training certificate, is preferred.
• Confined Space entry training certificate and experience.
• Working at Height training certificate and experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of safe system of work and CMMS work order management process.
• Proven analytical skills for problem solving and providing solutions to Control systems and
• Planning conflicts ensuring all tasks are prioritized to the needs of the team or client.
• Experience in onshore Sour gas processing and safety systems for oil and gas production facilities.
