JOB TITLE: Senior Engineer – Piping (Stress)

• Perform piping stress analysis for critical and non-critical piping systems.
• Carry out static and dynamic stress analysis using software such as:
  • Caesar II 
• Review P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, support drawings, and vendor data.
• Evaluate thermal expansion, sustained loads, occasional loads, seismic, wind, PSV discharge, slug flow, vibration, and dynamic loads.
• Prepare stress critical line lists and stress analysis reports.
• Design and recommend suitable pipe support systems including:
  • Spring supports
  • Snubbers
  • Rigid supports
• Coordinate with layout, material, structural, civil, and equipment engineering teams.
• Review nozzle load calculations and ensure compliance with equipment allowable loads.
• Resolve piping flexibility and support-related issues during design and site execution.
• Participate in model reviews, HAZOP, constructability, and technical review meetings.
• Review vendor documents and provide stress engineering comments.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and project/client specifications.
• Support site activities, troubleshooting, and field engineering when required.
• Guide and mentor junior stress engineers and designers.
• Proficiency in piping stress analysis software.
• Good understanding of piping layout and support engineering.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of stress optimization and support design.
• Site experience and troubleshooting capability
