Job Title: Senior FP&A Analyst

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Reporting & Analysis

·       Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts to review stage, including variance analysis against budget and forecast

·       Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with business stakeholders to improve the content and analysis of reports

·       Perform detailed financial analysis on income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, backlog and working capital to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

·       Preparation and consolidation of group financial results across multiple entities

·       Provide insightful commentary on financial performance to senior management

·       Preparation of presentation material to report actuals, forecast and budget for the Executive team

·       Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and business cases

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial understanding and cost control

·       Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting systems

·       Support continuous improvement of FP&A processes, reporting tools, and automation initiatives

·       Assist with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requirements as needed

Management and development of staff and processes

·       Mentor and develop junior members of staff

·       Develop strong relationships with the business partners for each of the regions, to ensure financial results are reported accurately and with clear analytical narrative to explain variances against budget and forecast

·       Maximise efficiency in the reporting processes, identifying areas causing issues, determining root cause and work with the necessary teams to resolve

·       Identify and implement system improvements to increase the efficiency of reporting process

·       Support business improvement initiatives and assist the wider finance community as required

·       Escalate issues to FP&A management when required and keep them briefed on the team’s activities

Knowledge & Qualifications:

·       Qualified accountant (e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 5+8 years of post-qualification experience

·       Proven experience in FP&A, including budgeting and forecasting

·       Strong experience in financial consolidation and group reporting

·       Solid background in financial analytics and performance reporting

·       Good understanding of accounting principles and financial controls (IFRS/US GAAP)

·       Experience in a multinational or complex business environment is advantageous

·       Proficiency in financial planning systems, AI, and advanced Excel (experience with BI tools is a plus)

·       Knowledge of Oracle EPM is preferred

·       Continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for process optimisation and automation

·       Advanced excel skills are required due to interpretation of large levels of data

·       Understanding of the use of generative and agentic AI and how it can be applied to automate processes and recurring deliverables
