Senior Structural Designer
CB&I is seeking a Structural Designer 3 - Contractor for 12 months based in Aberdeen, UK.

The scope of services will be reviewed should there be a significant change to client support requirements.
Scope of Work:
Services to be supported during the duration of the contract are detailed below. A requirement to undertake additional services shall be mutually agreed by way of contract amendment:
- Provide technical expertise for the structural design of new infrastructure and modifications to existing infrastructure for the energy sector.
- Provide technical information to support estimates for project work scopes
- Provide input to progress and planning meetings as required
- Provide technical expertise to the resolution of technical queries ensuring that all design changes are captured by the change control process
- Conduct site surveys on offshore or onshore assets
- Produce structural design drawings / 3d models etc
- Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews / HAZIDS
- Provide checking and approval of structural drawings, complete interdisciplinary checking of documents where necessary.
- Interface with other disciplines, clients and third parties on technical project issues
- Provide a level of technical support that satisfies the appropriate Asset Safety Case and that the PFEER performance standards ensuring they are not compromised by any discipline engineering activities
- Compliance with company engineering procedures, industry, international and client codes and standards
- Ensure that all work complies with the Contract Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures as appropriate
Deliverables:
Services should be provided to produce the following deliverables where required as part of project specific works, specific clients and durations will be called off as part of the purchase order.

- Structural Detail Drawings
- Structural Destruct Drawings
- Installation Methodology Drawings / Documents
- Rigging Drawings
- Survey Reports
- Construction Workpack input
- Weight Control Reports
- Presentations sketches etc to assist in scope communications
Services should be provided to check and verify the following design deliverables where required as part of project specific works.
- Structural General Arrangement Drawings
- Structural Detail Drawings
- Structural Destruct Drawings
- Installation Methodology Drawings / Documents
- Rigging Drawings
- Survey Reports
- Construction Workpack input
