 JOB TITLE: Services Supervisor
 

The post is based on the Arbroath platform on a 3/3rotation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·       ‘Live’ our CB&I Values and apply them in day-to-day work.

·       Co-ordinate and carry out the following activities in support of site operations

·       All deck and crane operations

·       Optimise the movement of material and equipment to minimise container time on deck

·       Movement of material and equipment to work sites

·       Cleaning, wash down and waste management

·       Bunkering of supplies from supply boats

·       Assist with rigging and lifting operations where required

·       Order all materials required through Maximo to satisfy operational requirements

·       Ensure all material and equipment purchased deliver the best value, seeking the necessary approvals where appropriate

·       Prepare equipment for transport and complete documentation in accordance with the relevant regulations for shipment of goods

·       Ensure all material or equipment are checked on arrival at site prior to storage or use in a timely manner

·       Conduct inventory control and stock checks and minimise inventory where appropriate

·       Liaise with Operational Base, MAC group and suppliers to deliver an effective materials service

·       Ensure inventory integrity, particularly of critical spares, by completion of auditable stock-taking on a rotational basis;

·       Issue from storage consumables, materials, plant and equipment in a timely manner to support the Asset operations, ensuring where appropriate that stock management systems are duly updated and that traceability in maintained;

·       Manage all aspects of the tracking of Plant & Equipment, from ordering through to eventual dispatching or “write-off” from platform;

·       Control and track all items of test equipment, air tools and working at height equipment and temporary equipment to ensure that all certification is in place prior to issue and during use

·       Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift and crew change

·       Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency in cost or time without loss of integrity and present idea(s) to relevant management

·       Logistics pertinent to freight and passenger movements

·       Ensure freight is transited to and from site in efficient manner     

·       Carry out freight checks against associated manifests

·       Member of Incident Management Team, providing radio operations services during emergency response to both aircraft and marine traffic

·       Support and improve team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.

·       Participate in PFM competence scheme including any multi skilled role in accordance with the relevant competence framework

·       Adopt a flexible working attitude to provide support across all departments to ensure team success

·       Create, maintain & enhance effective working relations and identify and minimise interpersonal conflict

·       Maintain effective communication with all work colleagues at all levels

·       Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and be able to apply it in the workplace

·       Provide accurate information to planning processes to support delivery of work plans

·       Provide relevant cost information and reports to site department to enable accurate budget control

·       Ensure all work is conducted in full compliance with the Neo Next Plus HS&E policy, procedures and Safety Management System and legislative requirements

·       Be familiar with and follow the Neo Next Plus Rules for Health and Safety at all times

·       Supervise and co-ordinate deck crew to ensure:

·       Clear HSE objectives and expectations are understood and met

·       Work is conducted in full compliance with the Neo Next Plus HS&E policy, procedures and Safety Management System and any statutory requirements or obligations.

·       Compliance with all relevant PFM HS&E policies and procedures where appropriate

·       All team members actively participate and support all Neo Next Plus and PFM Health, Safety & Environmental plans, initiatives and improvements

·       Activities are carried out in accordance with ISSOW including comprehensive and detailed Risk Assessments and Toolbox Talks and Routine Deck Lift check sheets

·       Manage the deployment of multi skilled deck operators to ensure the deck crew is of sufficient size and experience to carry out deck operations safely and effectively 

·       Report all accidents and incidents, lead and participate in incident investigations where required

·       Carry out audits to ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedure and site directives

·       Perform Emergency Response duties as required by site, HLO as a minimum requirement.

·       Working at height Unit 2 – PPE User

·       CISRS Operative Training Scheme (COTS)

·       Vantage POB offshore administrator

·       GMDSS - Restricted Operator Certificate (GMDSS ROC)

·       Offshore Crane Operator Stage 2 (Inboard Lifts Only)

·       Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Air - Full Certificate

·       Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Sea - Full Certificate

·       Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Sea (Radioactive)

·       Helideck Landing Officer (HLO)

·       Helideck Operations Initial Training

·       Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Offshore Operator

·       Helideck Emergency Response Team Leader (HERTL)

·       HERTL Further

·       Helicopter Refuelling

·       Offshore Meteorological Observer

·       Forward planning of team duties
