This job is based at the Flotta Terminal on a Monday to Friday to rotation.

JOB TITLE: SITE LIFTING FOCAL POINT.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To ensure all Lifting Operations on site are carried out in accordance with RSRUK Standard for Lifting Operations HSE-PRO-TLM-128 & ENG-STM-TLM-005.
  • To co-ordinate and carry out safe and efficient logistics and support services on site in compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • This position will be employed on a Monday to Friday basis although a degree of flexible working will be required.
  • Responsible for supervision of site rigging operations, allocating and managing daily work schedule and providing support with any issues.
  • Ensure all Lifting Operations on sites and offshore are carried out in accordance with group standard lifting and hoisting operations.
  • Review and approve all lifting operations, lifting plans and risk assessments.
  • Act as lifting technical authority on site and be able to develop effective Lifting Plans.
  • Determine suitable levels of Supervision for complex and complicated lifts in conjunction with Site Management.
  • Responsible for ensuring all personnel involved in lifting operations meet RSRUK competence standard.
  • Ensure all lifting equipment used on site is fully certified in compliance with the Company standard.
  • Carry out audits on lifting operations to ensure compliance with TLM-128 & TLM-005.
  • Ensure Lifting & Rigging Equipment is operated safely and within their design parameters.
  • Ensure all crane and deck operations including placement of equipment.
  • Advise on Deck Loading parameters.
  • Accountable for the operation, control and monitoring of process plant and utility systems in a safe.
  • Efficient manner in accordance with Repsol Sinopec’s Safety Management system and to comply with all statutory requirements.
  • Ensure comprehensive records and logs are maintained and effective handovers are carried out at shift and crew change.
  • Identify and propose ideas and solutions that will increase efficiency in cost or time without loss of integrity and present idea(s) to relevant management.
  • Support and improve team performance by sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Participate in PFM competence scheme including any multi skilled role in accordance with the relevant competence framework.
  • Adopt a flexible working attitude to provide support across all departments to ensure team success.
  • Create, maintain & enhance effective working relations and identify and minimise interpersonal     conflict.
  • Maintain effective communication with all work colleagues at all levels.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and be able to apply it in the workplace.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Working at Height Unit 2 - PPE User.
  • OPITO Rigger Competence Stage 3 / 4.
  • OPITO Banksman and Slinger Stage 3 / 4.
  • Lifting Gear Examiner.
  • Winch Operator Training.
  • Overhead Gantry Crane Training.
  • CPCS Appointed Persons: Lifting Operations A61 (Red Card).
  • CPCS Appointed Persons: Lifting Operations A61 (Blue Card)
  • NSVQ Level 3 Rigger or Diploma ECITB Moving Engineering Construction Loads.
  • ECITB Appointed Persons Moving Loads Stage 3 / 4.
  • ISSoW - Permit Vision software training.
  • OPITO and IOSH Authorised Gas Tester - Combined Levels 1, 2 & 3.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience with Maximo or similar CMMS.
  • Computer literate including use of Microsoft office suite.
