JOB TITLE: SUPERVISOR – NIGHT SHIFT
The post is based offshore on the Hewett Assets on a 2/2 rota and fixed term of 9 months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Take personal responsibility for safety and adhere to Petrofac’s ‘Life Saving Rules’.
· ‘Live’ our Petrofac Values and apply them in day-to-day work.
· Day to day responsibility for overseeing platform removal whilst offshore ensuring all tasks are in line with Petrofac standards and processed. Autonomous decision making concerning the health and welfare of offshore personnel and the safe utilization of plants and equipment. Along with removal contractor document review prior to offshore execution.
· Reviewing and approval of EPRD documentation
· Attendance at HAZID’s & Reviews as required
· Familiarisation with EPRD contractor processes and assets
· Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of all personnel working on the installation.
· Supervision of Company Safety and Environmental Management System.
· Liaison with onshore support team.
· Enforcement of all statutory and Company safety related procedures affecting offshore operations.
· Ensuring that the requisite pre-job briefing meetings (toolbox talks) are held as necessary by Scaldis.
· Attending daily Permit to Work meetings and counter-signing permits on board or with the potential to affect the asset.
· Performing an emergency response role as defined in Company procedures.
· Ensuring accidents, incidents and near misses are investigated and actions logged in action tracking database.
· Ensuring the security of the platform and co-ordination of marine activities within the 500m exclusion zone.
· Requirement to raise any non-conformance to supervisor in timely fashion.
· Requirement to address MoC’s and Technical notes in line with removal contractor and Petrofac onshore.
· Input into project/ asset plans in timely fashion.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Familiar with and understand the Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
· Ability to deploy engineering & operational standards/ procedures that meet both regulatory and safety standards.
· Ability to identify, investigate, audit and control technical change (within limit of discipline knowledge)
· Offshore Certification
· OIM Certification (Preferable)
· Deputy OIM Qualifications as below:
· MEM (Major Emergency Management)
· OIM Legislation
· OPEP Level 1 On-Scene Commander (Preferable)
· Motivate and provide guidance to team, by displaying role model behaviours.
· Act as a change agent, promoting positive change and improvements across the asset.
· Ability to undertake work to meet acceptance criteria with respect to safety, technical integrity, cost and schedule.
· Clear, fluent and expressive use of verbal and written language to convey information and ideas.
· Ability to co-ordinate with project/ planning engineers to plan, monitor and control project activities.
· Previous OIM experience (Preferable)
· Working to Safety Case and other legislative requirements
