Technician I - Construction

Title: Technician 1 - Construction (UAE National) 

Scope of Responsibilities
 
Undertakes the discipline specific duties during the construction of permanent plant and equipment.

Primary Duties

• Undertake repairs, maintenance, installation, service and new works as a member of a team.
• Perform works on a day to day basis in accordance with scheduled work programmes prepared by or in conjunction with supervisor. 
• Give instruction, guidance, assistance and where required support to tradespersons, labourers and apprentices others in team in the performance of their duties. 
• Contribute to maximising work load and wok programme turnaround and work teams productivity through effective planning and organisation of manpower, materials, plant and other identified resources required, e.g., specialized equipment.
• Contribute to minimising unnecessary non-productive time through effective liaison with clients/customers, suppliers and others so as to complete works in accordance with anticipated timings to meet client/customer expectations.
• Contribute to ensuring that all works are carried out to meet client/customer standards, good practice, and where appropriate standards governed by regulation or other directive.
• Carryout other related tasks as advised by the supervisor.
