The post is based in Equatorial Guinea, onshore in Malabo on a 10/4 rotation. This will be a 6 month contract.
JOB TITLE: VISIONS INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) ADMINISTRATOR
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Visions IMS Administrator is part of the Asset Integrity Department and has primary responsibility for administrating the inspection data and other fixed equipment information into and out of the MEGPL IMS VISIONS database.
- The IMS Resource will be working with the Asset Integrity Team in the office and in the field, therefore all MEGPL HES policies and procedures must be followed and active participation in the MEGPL’s safety programs is required.
- Ensure all equipment data, inspection reports, backlog reports, drawings, photos, and other pertinent fixed equipment information is properly stored in the Visions IMS databases.
- Immediately advise department supervision if anomalies are noted upon entry of data into IMS to ensure that these are promptly evaluated and acted upon.
- Query the IMS database as needed by QA/QC and Inspection Supervisors as well as the Asset Integrity Superintendent to prepare status reports, inspection due dates, equipment lists and other summary reports of information in the database.
- Ensure that new inspection reports are made available in the IMS, to the appropriate personnel for evaluation, review and approval.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Associated Degree required.
- NDE certifications is preferred.
- Must be able to coach others.
- Few years of experience related to similar database management.
- Visions Data Base —required.
- MS Office Suite OpenText, SAP, MS Project and related software preferred.
- English level 3 is preferred.
