Petrofac is seeking a Walk to Work Project Manager on a PAYE 12-month contract position based in Aberdeen.

Job Title: Walk to Work Project Manager

Key Accountabilities:

1.      Driving the creation and management of the W2W 26 Activity Block Plan and Histogram.

2.      Managing and reporting against the W2W 26 Milestone Plan on a weekly basis.

3.      Chairing the Weekly W2W 26 Progress Meetings, focusing on driving accountability amongst SPAs and progress against the deliverables outlined in the Milestone Plan.

4.      Ensuring stage gate compliance for all planned activities in the W2W 26 Milestone Plan.

5.      Providing information for the steering group/ key stakeholders to enable correct decisions to be made throughout the project lifecycle.

6.      Supporting the preparation of scope readiness reviews.

7.      Managing the risk register and coordinating & chairing risk review sessions.

8.      Clear communication of objectives and deliverables required of all SPAs/ stakeholders.

9.      Monitoring and driving job readiness with the relevant SPAs.

10. Communication of competing priorities for relevant deliverables during W2W 26.

11. Supporting SHE Team to develop the SHE Plan (including waste management) in line with company standards.

12. Oversee and track progress of relevant W2W 26 documentation.

13. Supporting the creation of Communication Packs (internal and external).

14. Provides regular updates and reports via established business cost management processes.

15. Works closely with the Programme Manager and Cost Engineer to control W2W 26 costs as part of the Programme budget.

16. Work directly with multi-disciplined functions to ensure that individual plans are integrated as required for W2W 26 activities.

17. Co-ordinate and support the planning and management of all resource allocation for relevant W2W 26 workflows.

18. Managing scope worklist and ensuring scope readiness across all W2W 26 activities.

19. Managing the scope growth process and coordinate the review of growth requests.

20. Coordinating sessions with SPAs for scope definition, progress reporting and readiness reviews.

21. Co-ordinate and manage Risk / SIMOPS workshops.

22. Providing support to logistics for vessel compliance and campaign preparations.

23. Promotes and lives by a ‘Safety First’ culture with the team and across all areas of responsibility.

24. Adhere to and promote Ineos 20 Principles and 7 Life Saving Rules to colleagues and external vendors.

The postholder is expected to adhere to the Golden Rules of Safety (transitioning to ‘The 9 Lifesaving Rules in 2020) and the Petrofac Values.

Person Specification:

·         Preferably degree qualified in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent discipline. Or relevant industry experience.

·         Chartered Engineer or actively working to achieve chartered status.

·          BOSEIT, Medical and MIST for offshore travel.

  •  Working knowledge of:
    • NEOS FPS Maintenance Standards,
    • Integrity Management,
    • Control of work and HSSE.
    •  Engineering principles and practices.
    • Methods materials, tools, and equipment used in the modification and maintenance of relevant equipment and structures related to oil and gas production operations.
    • Project Management processes and best practices.
    • Relevant UK Regulatory and industry standards.
    • Safety hazards and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments.
    • W2W planning experience.

·         An ability to work under pressure, with a drive for action, initiative and delivery.

·         Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

·         Results driven mindset to ensure roadblocks are promptly and effectively managed.

·         High levels of attention to detail.

·         Ability to effectively manage emergent requirements amongst planned workflow.

·         Strong decision-making skills.

·         Positive attitude, self-confident, independent and ability to work on own initiative

·         Proven track record of planning and leading multi-discipline offshore W2W / Offshore Campaigns.

o   Familiar with Management of Change processes.

o   Relevant experience of Asset Operations.

o   Experience of operational, engineering and maintenance systems and processes.
