Job Title: WELL SERVICES SUPERVISOR – OFFSHORE P&A CAMPAIGN
Location: Offshore UAE – Jack up Rig
Duration: Project-based contract aligned with the P&A campaign schedule
The Well Services Supervisor will act as the offshore representative, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all well intervention and activities associated with the P&A program. This includes direct supervision of operations like coiled tubing, slickline, electric line, fishing, cement pumping, and other related services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Oversight:
- Supervise and coordinate all well intervention activities, including coiled tubing operations, slickline and electric line services, cement pumping, section milling, fishing, PWC, and other P&A-related tasks.
- Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with approved programs.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and ensure all personnel are aware of potential hazards and mitigation measures.
- Coordination and Communication:
- Liaise with onshore engineering teams, DSVs, and third-party contractors to ensure seamless execution of operations.
- Manage logistics related to equipment and personnel mobilization/demobilization.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all operations, including daily reports, equipment usage, and any incidents or deviations from the plan.
- Provide detailed feedback and lessons learned to inform future operations.
- Equipment and Personnel Management:
- Verify the readiness and certification of all equipment prior to deployment.
- Ensure all personnel are adequately trained and possess the necessary certifications for their roles.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in engineering or a related field is advantageous.
- Certifications:
- Valid BOSIET/HUET certification.
- Valid H2S Certificate
- IWCF Level 4 certification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years in well operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role overseeing offshore P&A activities.
- Proven experience with coiled tubing, slickline, electric line, and P&A operations.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using industry-standard reporting and documentation tools.
- Ability to work on a rotational offshore schedule.
- Physically fit to meet offshore medical requirements.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
